Menswear brand Raymond expand store base
At the launch of its 350th store, Raymond announced that it would increase it's stores to 950 by 2010 with an investment of approximately Rs 5 million per store. Stores are to be of an average size of 2,500 sq ft. Park Avenue, ColorPlus, Manzini and Parx are some of Raymond's famous brands which will all be available at these new stores. At present the company has over 1 million sq ft of space, a substantial part of it being in tier II and tier III towns, ahead of other retailers who are rushing to set up stores.
