China launches new moral policing campaign

A police spokesman stated that most youth related crime in China could be tracked back to "negative influences" from certain sites on the Internet. As the number of crimes committed by youth has increase over the past few years, the Internet seems to have become the most effective punching bag. China announced a new campaign against these so called "negative influences" of the Internet, from fraud, to illegal lotteries to even rumor spreading.
