Code of conduct for bloggers

There's talk about Bloggers to have a code conduct in view of the recent threats to a bloggers life via comments on her blog. I think that it essential to live by rules and bloggers and especially anonymous commenter's should be responsible for what they put on their blog or allow on their blog in regard to comments. Tim O'Reilly talks about a Blogger Code of Conduct on his blog O'Reilly Radar and I personally feel that it would be a welcome addition to the Internet world.
