Armani hopes to tie up with DLF

Armani is said to be interested in coming to India with a tie up with real estate major DLF Group. Sources report that the Italian designer firm was holding talks with DLF representatives about setting up "high visibility stores" in the two metros, Delhi and Mumbai. Armani has been interested in opening stores in India for a while, but has been scouting for the right partner. Its talks with Reliance Retail fell apart quite soon and the company was said to be talking with the Aditya Birla Group as well.
