According to a study by Greenfield Online, 41% of Internet users currently download music from the internet, with the majority of those who download music being in the 25-44 age bracket and over 10% over the age of 55. The online research firm conducted its study on over 1,000, 18+ Internet users in the US. It was found that 58% of respondents
spent less than $10 a month on music and 24% spend between $11-20 per month, on online as well as offline purchases of music.
