Best Buy and Vivek likely to tie up

Best Buy, one of the most successful electronic retail chains in the US, is holding talks with Vivek Ltd, who is India's largest consumer durable retail chain, for a possible partnership for the Indian market. A deal between the two companies is said to be for technical and sourcing services only. Several Best Buy executives visited India recently to understand how the market works here and also to meet executives at electronic companies such as LG, Samsung and Sony.
