Dismal sales at Sharper Image

Sharper Image is not doing too well lately. The retailer posted 27% lower total sales for May as compared to last year, from $32.9 million to $24.1 million. Internet sales reduced by 40% as compared to last year, from $5.2 million to $3.2 million. Internet Retailer ranked Sharper Image at the #87 position in its Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide last year, which has now fallen to #122.
