March 24, 2007: A day without computers

My latest project involves a lot of Internet and computer work and I've been working non-stop for the past week. To the point that I'm going to say no more computer for a day, which is really perfect since I heard about the Shutdown Day social experiment that is taking place on March 24th, 2007. The experiment revolves around the fact that we are getting too dependent on computers and are not able to do anything without them. They have and are continuously shaping the way we live, work and communicate and I think this is a great way to mark just how much our world has changed due to the computer.
