Realtors with a difference
A small Austin real estate company is trying to change the way things are run in the real estate business. Alcan Properties is offering 1.5% rebates to buyers and sellers who deal with them. The usual 6% rate is normally divided equally between the buyer's and the seller's agent and Alcan Properties is offering half of its share of commission to reduce the burden on clients.

This is a brilliant idea. These guys are going to make a ton of cash. Finally, somebody gets it.
I agree, it's such as waste to pay commission to two agents. Wish some agents closer to home pick up on this system too.
