Positive learning

Positive coaching techniques are increasingly being followed by companies these days as they have been found to be very effective. There's a new book out called 'Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process for Change' which discusses this phenomenon and how organizations can use this system to increase productivity. The book has been co-authored by Sara Orem a faculty member at Capella University, a leader in online education in the US. Research by psychologists has shown that people are much more likely to flourish in environments where human ideals and achievements are appreciated. Appreciative Coaching requires that organizations acknowledge strengths of individuals rather than focus on their limitations. This post was based on information provided by Blogitive.
