The celebrity boom brought on by the media has led to a surge in sales of a variety of products, including Tenuate, weight loss programs, beauty products etc. The average consumer wants to be like their favorite celebrity, in looks, in attitude and in clothing and lifestyle. Celebrity magazines are the hot sellers these days and all tips and techniques dished out by celebs are lapped up by consumers who are ready to do anything to be like their favorite stars.
