Staples announced that it is expanding its
electronic waste recycling program by taking in used computers and monitors. Consumers can drop them off at any of Staples locations for a $10 fee. The company started this recycling program 4 years ago for smaller items such as cell phones, pagers, digital cameras, which consumers could drop off at Staples stores for free. Staples biggest rival Office Depot also has a similar program for recycling old electronic products.
