not like the old amps
I am realizing that when it comes to technical stuff I know very little of the art of making music. Sure its a while away when I will need to know this stuff for little E, but I feel I must start trying to pick up information before I feel completely outdated. So I started reading about Amplifiers! I mean just look at this fender vibrolux, it is pretty amazing at what it can do for a musician. They are not like the amplifiers of the old days, these produce clean sounds and are super responsive, and best of all the more dynamic your playing style, the more responsive it will be. This one in particular is perfect for solos, especially in the midrange.
Encyclo help
I came across an interesting site, called EncycloCentral based on an encyclopedia, where you can find tons of information on a huge variety of military aircrafts. Have a look at this article on A20 Boston aircraft that gives the background as well as lots in interesting information. It's an unusual and interesting site, the first of its kind that I've seen on the Internet.
hi fi music
E has always shown a strong interest in music, but now that she is able to actually play some things like the bongos, I think I should plan for investing in some serious instruments for her. Maybe not quite the mixer pioneer djm-800 at guitar center as yet, but something at least. The tools that professional DJs now have are simply amazing. The Pioneer music mixers are known for their high quality sound and for their reliability as well. Club engineers and DJs alike have raved about how the sound produced has raised the bar yet the ease of operating these mixers is addictive. Since there is an analog signal, which passes via the shortest signal route, it reaches the mixing stage at the best possible sound, which makes quite a bit of difference.
printers to the rescue
I change the look of my house so often that I dont like to have things arranged or hung in a way that I find restrictive. I like to swap furniture with other rooms, so switch rooms, to ditch stuff that I dont care for any more and basically create a new look. Art work and fabrics are key to changing the look of a room without having to dish out on expensive furniture, so that's where I focus my energies on. I'm a big fan of large scale art, stuff that you can get printed from your regular print shop, just in engineer print size. ON regular paper, it works out cheaper than a nice burger! But seriously, printing stuff out is high up on my list, and having a good trade printer on hand to do my projects is even better. When it comes to fabrics, it's even simpler. Keeping different cushion covers, throws, tablecloths and rugs for different seasons is the simplest way to go. It's fun to mix it up a bit every few months. Invigorating really!
